Pippa Patiño
Pippa Patiño is an Ecuadorian artist, born in Nottingham and raised in Berlin. Living between different cultural spaces fundamentally shapes her practice, not as a search for a singular sense of belonging, but as the simultaneous inhabiting of different perspectives and realities. At the center of her work are figures that oscillate between dream, ritual, and everyday life. These expressive characters function as archetypes of their own kind, each embodying a different inner space or moment. Color, rhythm, and visual language carry traces of her Ecuadorian heritage, connecting personal experience with collective traditions of imagery.
