Canberk Akçal
Canberk Akçal (1996, Istanbul) is completing his studies in Fine Arts/Sculpture at the Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin.
Recurring elements in his work include writing letters in different mediums, exploring personal and communal communication through diverse formats, and themes of belonging and nostalgia, which form the backbone of his work. He is co-founder of fünfter Löffel initative and has showcased works and worked in various curatorial positions at festivals and institutions such as 48h Neukölln, KINDL Zentrum für Zeitgenössische Kunst, cank berlin, artspring Berlin.
