Laurids Koehne

Laurids Caspar Koehne (b. 1996) lives and works in Berlin.
He studied Fashion Design at the University of the Arts Berlin before continuing with Sculpture at the Kunsthochschule Weißensee. Influenced by dreams and memories, his practice spans installation, painting, and video, with a focus on layering aesthetics and the interplay of materials and ideas in both physical and digital forms. Through music-driven videos, painting techniques and reliefs, he explores questions of materiality, rhythm and surface.
