I’m interested in what I call the « imaginary gap ». It’s a space between what we already know as « tangible and real » and the fiction we decide to actively believe in (momentarily or not). There’s a moment where we can be in between, in both at the same time. It’s like experiencing a magic trick while at the same time seeing the trick. It works through the absurdity : an odd use of a familiar space, an unbelievable image, a strange narration… It's about initiating a common moment of playing pretending. Wondering and potentially losing yourself in the "What if ? ».
